Tractor Terms & Conditions

Tractor Driving Experience Terms & Conditions

All drivers who participate (and guests who attend as spectators) in the Tractor Driving Experience must agree to the following terms and conditions:

FULL PAYMENT: for all experiences must have been received by Farm Adventure, prior to arriving on site.

VOUCHERS: vouchers are emailed on payment. These vouchers are valid for 18 months (eighteen months) from the payment date, and must be redeemed within the 18 month period. This is not amendable.

BOOKING: all vouchers are redeemed by pre-booking only. Experiences are generally offered on specific days, Mondays & Fridays, with some Saturdays during off-peak season where available. Contact the office to confirm availability.

REFUNDS: once purchased, a voucher is non-refundable.

AVAILABILITY: tractor experiences are available from April through to October. Ploughing is typically available in April, then September & October, and other seasonal field work can be done in May, June, July & August.

ADVERSE WEATHER: for all tractor experiences, where the weather prevents us from having the tractors in the fields, we may need to reschedule a pre-booked date with you. Farm Adventure would contact you as soon as possible and organise an alternative date with you. Please bear this in mind when booking non-refundable hotels.

DRIVING LICENCE: All drivers must hold a VALID FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE. The photo card must be presented on arrival on site to a Farm Adventure Instructor.

DRUGS & ALCOHOL: All drivers must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If drugs or alcohol use is suspected prior to or during the experience, this will result in immediate cancellation of the experience with no refund.

CLOTHING: Appropriate clothing must be worn. Footwear must not have a smooth sole. Waterproof wellingtons or correctly laced walking boots suitable for muddy conditions are recommended.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS: The experience is NOT suitable for anyone with any medical condition which could inhibit the safe control of large machinery. This includes, but is not limited to: epilepsy, heart conditions, and history of a stroke.

ARRIVAL: Drivers must arrive promptly on site. They must also be present for all briefings given. Failure to comply could result in immediate cancellation with no refund.

GUESTS: A maximum of two (2) guests may be present during the session. Any guest 16 or under, must be accompanied by an adult.

SAFETY: Hill Top Farm is a full working farm, and all guests must adhere to the farm safety rules and must stay within the boundaries throughout the driving experience as pointed out by the Farm Adventure instructor.

DOGS/PETS: We cannot permit guests to bring their pets to site. Please leave all animals at home. We are a working farm, and cannot allow dogs to wander round the site, even on a lead.

LAMBING: During lambing season (assume February through to May), pregnant women must not be present on site, due to the risk of Enzootic Abortion.

HEALTH: Anti-bacterial hand soap is provided in the toilet facilities, and must be used after the experience or before the consumption of any foods or beverages on site.

REFRESHMENTS: will be available on request, and guests are also welcome to bring their own. No food will be provided.

SIGNATURE: Drivers and guests will be required to sign this disclaimer on arrival, to confirm they have read and understood the terms & conditions for the experience.
