Not only does Farm Adventure Yorkshire expose you to some of the UK’s wackiest outdoor challenges (seriously, where else can you compete against your mates in Pig Herding and Tractor Racing?), but we also make a meannnnn BBQ – so what are you waiting for?
* Although we’ve worked hard to make our farm as accessible as possible, much of the ground here is extremely uneven which, unfortunately, makes us inaccessible for some people with mobility issues. *Yorkshire Bookings: The Cow Byre and Shepherd’s Lodge are allocated by us, based on the size of your group. They are equally stunning and loved by all the groups who have visited us over the last 10 years.
Strictly no dogs allowed – Our working farms have around 350 livestock animals on-site and so we cannot allow other pooches in.

After mucking around on the open hills for a few hours, there’s nothing sweeter than the smell of a freshly lit BBQ to welcome you back…
Our delicious, flame-grilled bounty is fit for farming royalty – packed with home-reared pork sausages, juicy Aberdeen Angus beef-burgers, veggie burgers & sausages (cooked separately), soft-white buns, and the nation’s favourite condiments.
If you book the Muck & Manners or Muckier Manners package, the BBQ is already included and complimentary. If you’re just visiting us for the day activities but fancy a hearty meal before you leave us, you can add our popular BBQ.
Hey - fun fact, our BBQ has gone gluten free! So beef burgers & sausages are coeliac & g/f intollerance friendly!

If you are just visiting us for The Day Activities, we require full payment upfront.
If you are booking one of our All-Inclusive packages, we require a deposit from each individual wishing to secure a place, upfront. We will email you details of the balance payment, and when this is due. Please remember, once you confirm numbers when you pay the deposit, if numbers drop, refunds will NOT be given.

I attend on friday 18th sept.
Ben the instructor was pleasant and friendly.
However it was not the experience i wanted.
It was a drive through of a couple of fields down a well worn bone shaking path and you need upper body strength for the automatic changes of gear. We did a 3 point turn at the bottom and back up again and the hitching up and down of a trailor.
What i was expecting and would have preferred were laps of a flat field with turns.
I didn't particularly enjoy the experience and i wouldn't recommend it.
I’ve been looking forward to doing the tractor experience for ages and, as someone who is slightly obsessed with tractors at the best of times, getting behind the wheel of a John Deere 6R was right up there on the bucket list.
The tractor itself was an absolute beast and such a good laugh to drive. There’s something very satisfying about sitting that high up, looking over that bonnet and actually getting to drive a machine you’d normally only ever see working in a field.
Ben, the instructor, was brilliant from start to finish. Really informative, explained everything clearly and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. We had a proper laugh driving around as well, which made it even better and stopped it ever feeling too serious or overly structured.
For anyone who has even the slightest interest in tractors, farming or big machinery, I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. And if, like me, you’ve got a full-blown tractor obsession… you’ll absolutely love it. 😂
I came away with an even bigger appreciation for the machines and, if anything, this has probably made the obsession worse.
Brilliant experience, brilliant instructor and getting to drive a John Deere 6R was the icing on the cake.
Would 100% do it again.
We were met by the beautiful Lucy who gave us all the information on what to expect.
We had so much fun from the moment we arrived until we were asked to leave politely (as the girls in the group where doing some tiktok videos and another group was due in).
From sheep and pig herding to the obstacle course it was laughter all the way.
If you want something different to a pub crawl or overseas trip give this a try, you will not regret it.
Fun for all ages our group age range was from 25 up to 62.
Overall, one of my favourite breaks I’ve ever had in the UK. Even though this was a hen party I’ve never felt more relaxed, the beds were really comfortable so I slept really well too. Facilities in the lodge were fantastic and all bathrooms were either a wet room or a shower cubicle, shower gel also provided. We had an ironing board, iron, maiden, hoover and mop bucket! Also little things like cling film, foil and food bags were provided in the kitchen.
If you’re unsure about booking don’t be. Just book it. Or give them a call. They are quick to come back to you and have a wealth of knowledge.
